Audio: Bitter Won’t Win

We ain’t one thing, surely
But the clothes of the bad man
I’ve been wearin don’t fit right.

Sometimes we do what we must
To get what we need
But lose the sweetness
We were trying to save.
Maybe it’s not too late.
Maybe it’s not too much pain
To try again, wearin new clothes.
Maybe there’s enough sweetness
Left so the bitter won’t win.
And maybe your sweet
And my sweet could come together.

Two gentle souls
Sweet, sweet,
And dressed so fine.
